Tasman Cargo Airlines is the premium all-cargo operator across the Tasman and to destinations in the South-West Pacific and Asia.
As we drive into another exciting year of growth, we have additional opportunities available for experienced OCC or NCC duty managers to join our newly created Operations Coordination Centre.
About the Role:
Reporting to the Head of Operations Coordination Centre (HOCC), this role is normally based in our recently refurbished offices at the Domestic terminal at Sydney Airport and delivers customer centred outcomes through proactively advocating and prioritising customer preferences.
Performing as the shift duty manager in a 24/7 rotating roster cycle you will be responsible for coordinating the scheduled operation and disrupt management of the Tasman Cargo network.
Through a Collaborative Decision-Making framework this role will be solution focused and centrally coordinate with key stakeholders to sustain network high performance during shift duty.
This is a rare opportunity to get involved with aviation operations holistically – touching on all aspects of day of operations activities and planning.
- Facilitate and advocate customer requirements, sensitivities and preferences for incorporation into network operation and ‘end to end delivery’
- Coordinate special load requirements and Master Airway Bills
- Implement the integrated network plan including: Schedule, crewing, maintenance
- Allocate aircraft in conjunction with CAMO Engineering or ACMI requirements

This position will be required to attend the aircraft, the successful candidate must have the ability to travel internationally, obtain ASIC access, and meet local airport vaccination, security and other requirements as necessary.
