Accountant
  • Education and/or Experience:  Bachelor’s degree (B. A.) in Accounting, Finance, Business or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.  Trucking transportation as well as Oracle, Dayforce and Tableau experience a plus.

  • Communication: Ability to interact as well as communicate effectively with customers, contractors, vendors, managers, and other employees of the organization on a professional level while demonstrating strong problem-solving skills. Effectively communicates verbally and in writing with team, management, customers and suppliers.
Maintenance Assistant General mechanic skills and basic experience in welding, carpentry and tool repair is preferred. The ideal candidate will also possess basic computer/data entry skills and will have strong attention to detail. Applicants must possess a valid driver’s license and be at least 18 years of age.
Maintenance Manager
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); Technical School degree in related field is recommended, or 5 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.  Must have a valid driver’s license and be at least 18 years of age.  Must be available to work days, evenings, weekends, nights or holidays, if required.  Occasional overnight travel may be required. Employee experience with ATA vehicle maintenance codes and processes is preferred.  Must be proficient with MS Office Suite with an emphasis on Excel.  Employee must be very organized, Self-Starter, able to work on multiple complicated long-term projects, able to complete tasks with Minimal Supervision. Employee will need a Class A CDL within 24 months of starting this job.
Fleet Technician
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); Technical School degree in related field is recommended, or 2-5 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.  Must have a valid driver’s license and be at least 18 years of age.  Must have own toolbox and basic tools.
Mechanic
High school diploma or equivalent.  Experience in working on heavy duty equipment.  Must have advanced knowledge of hydraulic and DC electrical systems and basic understanding of metal fabrication.  Must be an experienced welder in both MIG and stick processes.  The ability to troubleshoot complex electric over hydraulic systems and the ability to read and understand both electrical and hydraulic schematics is required.  Experience in the transportation industry is preferred.
Freight Handler – Dock to Driver

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
  • Supervise staff within the accounting department in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws.
  • Assist with interviewing, hiring, and training employees.
  • Plan, assign, and direct work within the department, and provide timely feedback on performance.
  • Establish, modify, document, and coordinate the implementation of accounting procedures and controls.
  • Work with other departments within the organization to gain knowledge and understand changes in operations to support proper recognition of accounting data
  • Prepare reports and schedules required by internal and external auditors, regulatory and tax agencies, and corporate accountants.
  • Provide accounting procedures, training, and support to other departments and business units.
  • Review and maintain financial records and ensure that financial transactions are properly recorded.
  • Prepare complex balance sheets, profit and loss statements and other financial reports.
  • Analyze costs, revenues, financial commitments, and obligations incurred to predict future revenues and expenses.
  • Coordinate general accounting functions related to period closing, including preparation of journal entries, reconciliations and variance analysis.
  • Prepare monthly revenue and expense executive summaries for management.
  • Review and analyze financial statements to ensure completion and accuracy.
  • Review, investigate, and assist with the resolution of errors and inconsistencies in financial entries, documents, and reports.
  • Experience with intercompany accounting preferred.
  • Work closely with others within the finance and tax departments, the independent public accountants and operational managers.
  • Research and apply complex financial accounting concepts to relevant business transactions.
