  • Monitor workplace and health and safety inspections to ensure that the entirety of the workplace has been inspected in accordance with the company Health and Safety Manual and all applicable legislation.
Technician, Heavy Maintenance
  • Diagnose electrical malfunctions or other related problems in the aircraft as per technical manuals, drawings, and Data Packages.
  • Maintain aircraft systems, including airframe, propulsion, and avionics equipment.
  • Assemble, modify, and repair various aircraft components and assemblies.
  • Carry out bench assessment and repair of various aircraft components in accordance with the applicable component maintenance manuals.
  • Troubleshoot aircraft systems to identify problems and adjust/repair systems according to specifications, technical drawings, manuals and established procedures.
  • Perform and document scheduled, and unscheduled maintenance as dictated by the manufacturer, per Voyageur’s policy and Transport Canada.
  • Ensure that all maintenance operations are conducted in accordance with applicable legislation, company policies and procedures.
  • Observe Voyageur’s safety practices and procedures and comply with all company policies and regulatory requirements.
Engineering Support Specialist
  • Research OEM/vendor products and solutions, and then provide in-house technical support to maintenance personnel by providing established technical data to resolve technical requirements/issues.
  • Compile and prepare data packages for customers upon completion of STC/LSTC incorporation.
  • Provide experience-based recommendations as a licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer to company Aero/Mechanical Engineers, regarding feasibility of intended Modification/Repair design drawings and associated accomplishment instructions.
  • Qualify aeronautical new products on behalf of the Purchasing Department for usage on aircraft types for general and specific purposes by comparing the product intended for purchase with the OEM requirements.
  • Maintain and identify current revisions of documentation ensuring that only the current and applicable documents are identified for release.
  • Prepare and submit detailed damage reports to Original Equipment Manufacturers, such that the issue is clearly and concisely identified so that an effective resolution is obtained in the most economical and efficient manner.

Accessory Shop Manager

The Accessory Shop Manager will be responsible for the overall functions of the shop and the strategic role it plays within the organization to support all business functions. The Accessory Shop Manager will be responsible to ensure that the department is aligned with the Company goals and objectives; budget for equipment and staffing as well as manage Contracts for services provided or elicited.

Accessory Shop Management

  • Coordinate and organize resources to ensure outstanding work will be completed in the required time frame.
  • Provide direction, mentorship, and training to personnel.
  • Work with Customers to ensure the repairs are planned and scheduled to meet expectations.
  • Work with Vendors to ensure repairs and supplies meet expectations.

What you bring to the table

  • Technical diploma or degree in aviation, aerospace, or engineering
  • Aircraft Maintenance Engineers (AME) license and/or Commerce diploma or degree considered an asset.
  • 5 years’ experience in a supervisory or management role.
  • This position requires an individual with an aviation/aerospace industry background, specifically with the management and repair of aircraft components.
  • The individual needs to have a combined technical and commercial skill set to support the negotiation of contracts, resolve technical and commercial issues, make decisions and develop/manage budgets and repair work scope.
  • This position requires good organizational skills to ensure deadlines will meet contract expectations that will work with the available resources.
  • Be able to make decisions to complete a plan and communicate that plan to the various departments and external vendors.
  • Excellent level of technical understanding of Aircraft Component Maintenance programs.
