About the role
Reporting to the Senior Sales Manager Retail/TMC (Chapter Lead Retail/TMC), as Trade Account Manager (Sales Specialist) you will drive and present a compelling commercial value proposition to our trade partners (travel agencies) with a key focus on sales optimization and high customer and stakeholder engagement.
Essential to this role will be your understanding and knowledge of the travel agency landscape, outstanding communication and relationship building skills, and a high degree of operational capability. You will be confident, resilient, flexible and possess strong sales capability, combined with the ability to challenge the status quo and deliver on results. You will understand your client’s needs and challenges and are fully committed to partnering with them to provide a world-class solution.
This is an Auckland based role with a portfolio which will cover areas across Auckland and the mid-North Island.
Ideally you will:
- Be commercially and financially astute with travel industry experience in which you will identify opportunities and be motivated by results
- Be a trusted advisor with outstanding relationship management skills which will enable you to provide tailored advice and lead processes to obtain strategic action across your customer portfolio.
- Be a self-starter who can target business growth and have the discipline to execute the competitive plans to market.
