The Role    

The Compliance Monitoring Department is an independent department within CityJet responsible for monitoring the organisation for continued compliance with the required regulations, standards, and approved company procedures. Reporting to the Compliance Monitoring Manager, the successful candidate will have a key role within a department monitoring compliance for the organisations Part CAMO and Part 145 approvals.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Performance of internal airworthiness audits  in compliance with the organisations audit schedule
• Performance of IOSA Internal Audits in compliance with the IOSA Registration Renewal
• Continuous development and review of the audit programme and compliance checklists
• Liaison with internal departments in relation to compliance issues as required.
• Co-ordinate action plans and verify implementation of actions to audit findings
• Review & Assessment of regulation changes.
• Preparation of reports for management
• Investigation of incidents & production of reports as required
• Liaise with the Irish Aviation Authority on compliance matters
• Participate in the granting of authorisations to CityJet personnel
• Registration / De-Registration of Aircraft
• Development of departmental policies and procedures
• Inspection of aircraft and review of records for the purpose of renewal of the airworthiness review certificate

Qualifications / Skills / Competencies

• At least 5 years relevant work experience in the aeronautical industry in an appropriate position
• A relevant aeronautical degree or aircraft maintenance technician qualification (EASA Part 66 Licence
• Certifying experience in Part 145 line / base maintenance environment an advantage.
• Detailed knowledge of EASA Part CAMO and Part 145 continuing airworthiness regulation
• Knowledge of Human Factors, Human Performance, and limitations.
• Knowledge of SMS and risk hazard identification.
