The Project Delivery Manager is responsible for the oversight and end to end delivery of relevant projects impacting onshore & offshore airports. Managing multiple projects simultaneously across customer service & ground operations functions, this role will manage project schedules to ensure that deliverables are completed according to project plan, ensuring project governance and risk management is followed and maintained. You will provide subject matter expertise in project management, assembling and managing project resources from the Airports business unit, including planning, organising, leading, controlling and integrating the delivery of project phases. These include workshops, documentation, training, communications, implementation and post implementation review. Working with key project & business stakeholders, you will support the development of and deliver agreed change plan activities to ensure business readiness activity and business adoption is high.

What you’ll bring to the role:

  • Project Management knowledge/experience in large and complex projects with many and varied stakeholders, ideally within an operational company
  • Results driven with experience in leading or influencing high-performance teams working under pressure to deliver against deadlines
  • Strategic orientation and experience in translating strategic objectives into programs of work
  • Proven program, project and change management skills
  • Excellent communicator at all levels and through many different mediums
  • Strong networking, relationship building and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to influence and lead change without authority
  • Proven delivery in large people and process related change management programs
  • Ability to manage confliction and facilitate resolution
  • Working knowledge of industrial relations and HR processes and systems

The Maintenance Program Specialist is responsible for carrying out maintenance program and planning assessments in-line with Federal, State and local regulations for non-flying assets across the Qantas Group, including Ground Support Equipment (GSE), Simulators and other Flight Training devices. This position will interact with GSE and Simulator workshops, external maintenance suppliers and Qantas Group business units to ensure a compliant maintenance approach is achieved across business units and ports.

This position will see you play an active role in generating scheduled maintenance packages for GSE equipment, Simulators and Flight Training devices and support all compliance related and planned corrective maintenance to be carried out in a timely manner. You will be responsible for conducting maintenance program and planning evaluations, in support of utilisation-based maintenance, asset condition monitoring and optimising maintenance processes for improved cost, safety and availability outcomes across the Qantas Group.

The Maintenance Program Specialist will play a critical role in achieving strategic objectives for the delivery of transformation benefits to the Qantas Group, ensuring ongoing success for our customers in a commercially competitive environment. This includes supporting Group Asset Management transformation and improvement projects under maintenance programs, planning and execution optimisation.

To be successful for the position you will have:

  • Engineering or science qualifications and/or experience in maintenance programs, planning or execution in asset intensive industries
  • Demonstrated understanding of WHSE, CASA regulations and maintenance management
  • Demonstrated knowledge of IFS EAM or equivalent maintenance management software applications
  • Proficiency in manipulating data and drawing insights from large datasets
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills
