The Parts Clerk is responsible for receiving and distribution of parts and materials, stocking and updating inventory in computer system.

Job Accountabilities

The following are essential job accountabilities:

• Places incoming parts and materials into inventory and distributes according to established procedures.

• Research parts specifications for quality and efficiencies.  Inspects parts and supplies to ensure compliance with FAA and ACC standards.

• Ensure all parts and materials are current and remove from inventory when expired.

• Maintains work order requests and purchasing orders using the Pentagon inventory system.

• Reconciles inventory, maintains stock inventory and warehouse in a safe, clean and orderly condition.

• Operates a variety of machines and equipment, such as forklift, hand trucks and carts, rolling stock ladders, vans and pick-up trucks.

• Load and unload trucks with products and materials.

Job Specifications

Minimum Education:          High School Diploma.

Preferred Experience:         One year in related field of expertise, knowledge of inventory and nomenclature as well as demonstrated ability to deal with

customers.
