Position Overview

The Inventory Analyst will provide support to the Supply Chain Department in data analysis and data integrity for Ameriflight Supply Chain. This includes obtaining data from various sources, analyzing the data, and projecting information for planning purposes.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Create forward-looking analysis to improve Supply Chain performance and identify cost saving opportunities
  • Analyze inventory statistics and perform financial analytics to determine proper min/max allocation
  • Manage min/max updates in inventory system
  • Forecast future inventory requirements
  • Address Supply Chain and data problems, obstacles, and challenges
  • Communicate with other department data integrity issues and performance improvements
  • Assist in the analysis of the Supply Chain performance and monthly reports.
  • Analyze performance of operations and offers recommendations for improvement
  • Make data-driven recommendations on inventory holding practices by part and by location
  • Assist in system improvement specification analysis
  • Oversees multiple projects
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • 2-5 years of Aviation and Supply Chain Experience
  • 2-3 years of Analytical experience
  • Mastery of Excel required, ability to write formulas, VLOOKUP, pivot tables, charts, and functions to analyze large amounts of data.  Proficient in Power Point
  • Strong Math skills especially probability applications,
  • Ability to learn Company Maintenance and Supply Chain systems,
  • Ability to interpret data and offer recommendations on respective interpretations,
  • Ability to assist in Supply Chain planning processes,
  • Ability to analyze data and create forecasting models,
  • Professional and effective written and verbal communication and people skills
  • Must possess strong work ethic with the ability to prioritize activities to meet critical deadlines,
  • High level of insight, intuitiveness, and judgment in using utmost discretion when handling sensitive or confidential Company and employee information.
