Qatar Airways Business Process Development Manager Jobs Description
As a Business Process Development Manager, you will be responsible to define how Revenue Management teams accomplish their goals by being responsible for the development and definition of Revenue Management processes within the department. You will manage and facilitate continuous process improvement functions.
Other key accountability would include:
- Design, plan and implement new workflows or adapt existing ones to ensure RM functions are carried out consistently and efficiently
- Maintain awareness of, and need for adjustments to commercial policies and processes so that they can be documented, communicated and implemented
- Define and develop KPI metrics for each individual role with RM ensuing performance indicators are trackable, transparent and are clearly communicated across
- Manage and facilitate functional best practice groups for the RM teams focusing on Pricing, Demand, Inventory, Group Functions
- Ensure RM SOPs are documented and stored for all RM employees within a central location

Qualifications
We are looking for a passionate and experienced professional to join the Revenue Management Team
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Economics, Business Economics, or a relevant discipline – MBA is an advantage
- Adequate Airline Commercial Management training in IATA/Industry/Government Affairs, Marketing, Sales, Planning, Budgeting, Field Sales Management and Leadership
- Minimum 6 years of relevant experience within Airline
- Excellent understanding of the airline economics, economics in general as well as sales & distribution including systems
- Excellent knowledge in the following Commercial areas:
- IATA, Government and Industry Affairs
- Field Sales Promotion
- Ground operations procedures and activities
- Strategic Pricing
- Revenue Optimization
- Planning and Scheduling
- Customer Relations
- Marketing, Corporate/ Tactical
- Commercial Administration
- Understanding of statistics, operations research, forecasting and optimization methods
- Understanding of other related parts of airline business process, this includes network planning, scheduling, e-commerce, marketing and sales
- Understanding of Lean and Sigma processes
- Managerial skills
