About the role:
As Technical Document Controller, you will be responsible for helping us achieve this ambition:
- Maintain departmental records and databases through gathering, entering and/or updating data to establish and maintain records for the Maintenance Integration function.
- Act as the primary point of direct contact and liaison with other offices, individual, and external stakeholders and agencies on a range of multi-disciplinary projects, through regular communications and engagement
- Prepare formal documentation and correspondence through the screening and evaluation of incoming and outgoing correspondence to ensure timely and appropriate response.
- Support the development of technical data archiving policies and procedures to ensure ease of availability of maintenance integration and maintenance data records and information.
- Provide document control support to the issuance, technical review, receipt and filing of shop drawings, Issued For Construction {IFC) drawings and As-Built drawings, to ensure appropriate change management and document data integrity.
- Provide business documentation support, including technical report production, presentations and spreadsheet preparation and distribution of such materials, to support business decision making.
- Liaise with other sections/departments to ensure that requests are carried out and activities are coordinated
- Ensure that any personal data obtained and processed is treated in accordance with data protection principles followed by the Group, as well as applicable Group policies and Procedures on data protection and information security.
Qualifications
About you:
- Relevant Vocational, Tertiary or Trade qualification
- Engineering or facilities management discipline
- Minimum 4 years relevant experience
- Experience handling technical documentation such as As-Built drawings
- Ability to work in a cross culture environment.
- Excellent communication and computer skills.
- Maintain confidentiality and self-discipline.
- Should be motivated, responsible and focused.
- Command of English language
